The 4 free checks

Start at the top. Unplug the machine first.

  1. 01

On a newly installed washer, check all four shipping bolts and the four plastic spacers have been removed from the rear. Left in place they cause noise, vibration and error codes.

  2. 02

Unplug the washer for 5 minutes, then plug it back in to reset the control.

  3. 03

Turn the spin basket by hand and check it rotates freely.

  4. 04

Unplug the washer, then check the wiring connections at the shifter assembly — that is the part carrying the optical tachometer.
