Start at the top. Unplug the machine first.

    Check the hoses: the cold hose belongs on the cold inlet and the hot hose on the hot inlet. Swap them if they are reversed.

    Confirm both hot and cold taps are fully open — the washer needs both hoses connected to run correctly.

    Unplug the washer for 5 minutes, then plug it back in to reset the control.

    Check the resistance through the thermistor circuit (the black wires in the console): about 50,000 ohms at room temperature.
