Samsung dryer error codes

Find your code below, then run the free checks before buying anything. Each row says what the code means and how serious it is.

Worth knowing about Samsung

  • Samsung's dryer error codes use a C suffix on the newer DV22N heat-pump platform and an E suffix on the vented Smart Care and generic vented platforms for the same fault families — an outlet or compressor thermistor fault is tC/tC5 on the heat-pump dryer and tE/tS/tO on the vented dryer, a stuck control-panel button is bC2 against bE2 or bE, and a control-board communication fault is AC against AE. No single code string is shared between the two naming conventions, so a heat-pump C-suffix code is never interchangeable with a vented E-suffix code for the same fault.

The 35 Samsung dryer codes verified so far, whether or not each has its own page. Manufacturers document codes across several places, so a code missing here is one we have not confirmed yet — not one that does not exist. None has a page yet: each still needs confirmation from a second, independent source, so these rows state the meaning and nothing more.
